Dubai Desert Safari

This evening safari trades the city skyline for open dunes on the edge of Dubai, beginning with a 4×4 drive across the sand as the vehicle climbs and drops over the rolling terrain. The route pauses at points along the way for sunset photographs, when the low sun casts long shadows across the dune ridges and turns the sand a deeper shade of orange.

Arrival at the Desert Camp

The drive ends at a Bedouin-style camp set up for the evening, where arriving guests are welcomed with Arabic coffee before making their way through the tents and shisha lounge. Camel rides are available around the camp, along with henna application and the option to dress in traditional Emirati clothing for photographs. A falconry display area also gives guests the chance to photograph a trained falcon up close.

Dinner and Entertainment

As the sky darkens, a barbecue buffet dinner is served with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The evening’s entertainment includes a belly dance performance and a Tanura show, a spinning folk dance with roots in Sufi tradition, performed around the camp’s central seating area. Hotel transfers are included both to and from the desert.
