Dubai Marina Dhow Cruise

Long before Dubai Marina existed, wooden dhows like the one used on this cruise were the vessels that carried fishermen and pearl divers along the coastline, and the design remains largely unchanged today. Guests are asked to arrive at the Dubai Marina Yacht Club around 30 minutes before departure, allowing time to board and settle in before the boat sets off along the Marina’s canal.

On the Water

Once underway, the cruise passes beneath the cluster of towers, hotels and waterfront promenades that line the Marina on both sides, offering a different vantage point on a district usually seen from street level. A welcome drink is served shortly after boarding, and guests can choose between the air-conditioned lower deck or the partly open upper deck for a closer view of the skyline.

Dinner and Entertainment on Board

Dinner is served as an international buffet with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, accompanied by background music and a Tanura performance during the cruise. As a matter of practical guidance, on official dry days observed across the UAE, onboard entertainment is paused and alcohol is not served, in line with government guidelines, so cruise dates falling on those occasions run without those elements.
