SeaWorld Abu Dhabi

Opened in 2023 on Yas Island, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is the region’s first marine-life theme park and holds the Guinness World Record for the largest indoor marine-life park anywhere. The park spreads eight themed realms across five levels, bringing together more than 150 marine species and 17 dining venues within a single indoor structure.

The Realms

The journey through the park begins at One Ocean before moving into the Abu Dhabi Ocean Realm, which focuses on marine life native to the Arabian Gulf. From there, Rocky Point represents the Pacific West coast, while Arctic and Antarctica bring in cold-water species, including a resident penguin colony. The largest of the realms, Endless Ocean, houses the park’s biggest aquarium and is home to more than 68,000 animals on its own.

Rides and the Research Centre

Alongside the marine exhibits, the park includes rides such as Hypersphere 360 and the Microocean family of rides, giving it more of a hybrid feel between an aquarium and a theme park. SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is also home to the region’s first SeaWorld Research & Rescue Centre, which works on marine animal rescue and rehabilitation as an ongoing part of the park’s operations.
