What Is a UAE Visit Visa for GCC Residents?
A UAE visit visa for GCC residents is a special category of visit visa issued to expatriates who hold a valid residence permit in any of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. It is designed for non-GCC nationals who are living in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman or Bahrain and wish to visit the United Arab Emirates. This visa is simpler to obtain than a standard tourist visa and requires fewer steps because your existing GCC residency is the primary qualifying factor.
The 30-day option is suited to short holidays, family visits and brief business travel. Paid employment and long-term business activities are not permitted under this visa. govr.ae is a licensed UAE visa platform that processes GCC resident visa applications through official UAE immigration channels, verifying all documents before submission to confirm eligibility and reduce the risk of delays.
